Beats House Terms of Service

Effective date: May 18, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using beatshouseshop.com (“BeatsHouse,” “the platform,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must stop using the platform immediately. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, producers, and buyers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use BeatsHouse. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at gohanresto@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Beat Licenses

All beat and song purchases grant you a non-exclusive license as described at checkout. Unless you purchase an Exclusive license, multiple buyers may license the same beat. Licenses are personal, non-transferable, and non-refundable once a download has been initiated.

  • Basic / MP3 License — up to 10,000 streams; non-commercial or minor commercial use; no music videos.
  • Premium / WAV License — up to 500,000 streams; full commercial use including music videos and radio.
  • Exclusive License — unlimited streams; unlimited distribution; beat is removed from the catalog after purchase and no further licenses are sold.

Purchased licenses remain valid even if your BeatsHouse account is later terminated, provided you have not violated these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All original beats, instrumental tracks, and musical compositions uploaded by producers on BeatsHouse are protected by copyright. Producers retain full ownership of their works. By purchasing a license, buyers receive only the rights explicitly described in that license tier — no copyright transfer occurs unless stated in writing in an Exclusive agreement.

BeatsHouse and its logo, platform design, and proprietary software are the exclusive intellectual property of BeatsHouse. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from BeatsHouse branding or platform code without written permission.

If you believe content on BeatsHouse infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to gohanresto@gmail.com with: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) location of the infringing material on the platform, (3) your contact information, and (4) a statement of good-faith belief and accuracy under penalty of perjury.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (beats, songs, vocal takes, profile media). By uploading, you grant BeatsHouse a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, stream, and distribute your content within the platform solely for the purpose of operating the service. This license ends when you remove your content or close your account, except where content has already been licensed to buyers.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
  • Distribute, resell, or sublicense beats beyond the scope of your purchased license.
  • Use the platform to harass, threaten, defame, or harm other users.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure.
  • Use automated bots or scrapers to extract content or data without prior written permission.
  • Upload malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
  • Engage in fraudulent transactions or chargebacks without a legitimate dispute.

8. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. All sales are final once a digital download has been initiated. If you experience a technical issue preventing download, contact us within 7 days at gohanresto@gmail.com and we will resolve it or issue a store credit.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or repeated chargebacks. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not invalidate licenses already granted to buyers of your beats.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BeatsHouse shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to BeatsHouse in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Puerto Rico, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in that venue.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or prominent notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
