BeatsHouse (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates beatshouseshop.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, username, and password (hashed). Payment details are processed exclusively by Stripe — card numbers are never stored on our servers.

Usage Data

We automatically collect: IP address, browser type, pages visited, beats played or downloaded, and timestamps. This data is used to improve the platform and detect abuse.

Cookies

We use cookies and local storage to keep you logged in, remember playback preferences, and measure site performance. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Content You Upload

Beats, songs, vocal takes, and profile images you upload are stored on our servers. Visibility depends on your privacy settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the platform and your account.
  • Process purchases and send transaction receipts.
  • Deliver digital downloads and licensing agreements.
  • Send service emails (receipts, password resets, important notices). We do not send marketing email without your explicit consent.
  • Detect fraud, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Improve the platform through aggregate analytics.

3. Third-Party Services

We integrate with third-party services that may collect or process your data under their own privacy policies:

  • WooCommerce — powers our store; processes order data, cart contents, and purchase history. WooCommerce Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe — processes all card and bank payments. Your payment details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store raw card numbers. Stripe Privacy Policy.
  • TikTok API — used to publish promotional content on your behalf when you connect your TikTok account via BH Studio. TikTok may receive metadata about uploaded videos. TikTok Privacy Policy.
  • Instagram API (Meta) — used to publish content to Instagram when you connect your account via BH Studio. Meta may receive metadata about uploaded media. Instagram Privacy Policy.
  • Bluehost — our hosting provider; servers located in the United States.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the third-party services listed above and with law enforcement when required by valid legal process.

5. Your Rights

You may at any time:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information via your account settings.
  • Delete your account by emailing gohanresto@gmail.com.
  • Export your uploaded content (beats, songs, vocal takes).
  • Opt out of social platform integrations at any time by disconnecting your TikTok or Instagram account in your profile settings.

GDPR — European Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): right to data portability, right to restriction of processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our lawful basis for processing your data is contractual necessity (fulfilling your purchases) and legitimate interest (platform security and improvement).

CCPA — California Users

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion of your personal information, and the right to opt out of sale of personal information. 6. Data Retention

We retain account data while your account is active. Transaction records are kept for seven years as required by applicable tax law. You may request earlier deletion of non-transactional data at any time.

7. Security

All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. Passwords are stored with bcrypt. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe’s PCI-DSS-compliant infrastructure. Despite these measures, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

8. Children

BeatsHouse is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

Material changes will be communicated by email or a prominent notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
